Unless you know which strategic partner is the best fit to your business, and which does the sort of acquisition you want, you can waste a lot of time and effort knocking on the wrong doors
Tools for finding the right strategic partner for you
We are working on some tools and peer-review-type material to help smallish companies find the best strategic partners, and get the timing right. At present we are doing this for a specific client, but we thought it might be interesting to other companies too.
Let us know if tools like these would be of interest to you.
We put this page here to try and find out if anyone will be interested in this. If so, we will go ahead and make these tools available in the near future. The more responses we get, the higher priority we will make this, so If this would be valuable to you, please follow the link above.
Selecting the right strategic partner is hard
Over the years we have met many companies who would like to do a “strategic investment” round, but are not really sure:
- how to do it?
- which companies are the right ones?
- when the time is right to do such a deal?
- how to qualify the targets after initial conversation?
You can waste an awful lot of time knocking on the wrong doors, or contacting potential strategic partners too early in your company’s life cycle. We think our tools could help with this. Let us know if you are interested.
